The Nimbus ST35 (Sport Tender 35) not only considers the person at the helm, but asks who else is on board, and what their day looks like. It is the first model in the new Sport Cruiser 35 series, and the clearest expression yet of the Scandinavian design thinking Nimbus has refined since 1968 – design that answers to everyone on board.

The Sport Tender 35 sets the direction for the entire Sport Cruiser range, in the same way the award-winning 495 Flybridge shaped the Coupé Cruisers before it. It sits on an all-new, air-lubricated twin-stepped hull developed specifically for this series.

Three models will share that hull: the Sport Tender, the Sport Weekender and the Sport Coupé.

Below deck, there is genuine capacity: two cabins, sleeping five. A full-length double sits forward, two full-length berths sit in the mid-cabin, and a sofa converts for a younger guest. Five people can comfortably spend the day here, and stay aboard overnight when the plan changes. The heads are properly fitted out too, with a shower, toilet and washbasin – rather than a token arrangement.

The helm is built so anyone on board can take it, not just the most confident hand.
