Founded by L H Morgan in 1972, Morgan Marine is a family-run boatyard with a long-standing reputation for new and used boat sales, boat brokerage, marine engineering and our well-stocked chandlery (plus online shop); in Brightlingsea, Essex, UK.

We are a distributor of Jeanneau motor boats (including Merry Fisher, NC, Cap Camarat and DB), Excel inflatable Boats and Highfield Aluminium RIBs; plus outboard engines. Morgan Marine have been serving our customers now for over 50 years and for over 20 of those years, we have represented Jeanneau motor boats. We are very proud to have been awarded Jeanneau 2020, 2022 and 2024 dealer of the year which only serves to motivate us to constantly improve our offering.

Based out of our own private boatyard in Brightlingsea, Essex we have well-equipped workshops and highly-competent engineers, led by our Formula 1 motor racing background - an environment that demands the best or nothing. Our facilities give us the unique advantage of being able to control the whole process in-house, from initial boat order, through delivery and rigging; to sea trials and delivery of your new boat. Just as importantly, we are a family run business and we pride ourselves on excellent service and support, forming a long standing customer relationship; which we hope leads to repeat business!

If required, we can offer extremely competitive finance through CGI Finance, a financial arm owned by the parent company of Jeanneau and a service set-up to help people achieve their boating goals. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and it will be a pleasure to talk you through the options available.

Our workshop, led by our Formula 1 background and expertise, with a team of six fully trained and accredited engineers, offers marine engineering, boat repairs and servicing for all types of marine engines; as well as boat maintenance, electronic fitouts, generators, inverters, solar panels, gyroscopic stabilizers and winterisation etc – we cover all aspects of marine engineering; Essex based.

Our facilities, open 7 days a week, cover circa 10 acres of land and sea. We are in an ideal location on the East Anglian coast, within easy reach of Kent, Thames and Suffolk rivers. We are only a five minute walk to local pubs / coffee shops / newsagents – and a further five minute walk to Brightlingsea town centre.

In addition to boat sales and boat brokerage, the boatyard provides moorings, winter and summer storage, Park & Ride (boat launching and retrieval by tractor) and our own private slipway with hoist and crane.

Morgan Marine also provide an extensive chandlery store / showroom – of over 600 square metres - with stock to provide for all of your boating needs! Plus our online chandlery and clohting store with thousands of products at great prices and fast delivery. Our clothing department is well-stocked with leading brands in outdoor and boating gear. From screws / antifoul - to life jackets / wetsuits – or even towable watertoys / outboard engines – we have it all! We also stock clothing such as fleeces / shoes / coats etc that are great both on and off the water.
