JEANNEAU UK DEALER OF THE YEAR 2020, 2022 & 2024. HIGHFIELD DEALER OF THE YEAR 2024.
Nimbus C12 Boat Overview
The Nimbus C12, part of the Nimbus Commuter range, is the boat built for owners who already loved the C11 but wanted more of everything – more space, more refinement, more of that quiet confidence that comes from a hull and a fit-out that have been properly thought through. If you’ve been searching for a Nimbus C12 for sale in the UK, Morgan Marine is the place to start. We’re an official Nimbus dealer with the boatyard, marina and aftersales support to back up the sale, not just hand over the keys and wave you off.
Nimbus didn’t simply refresh the badge. The 12 Series carries a genuine set of updates over its predecessor, and they show up in the details as much as the headline figures. The swim platform has been extended and is now built using double-mould construction, so it reads as part of the hull rather than a bolted-on afterthought. New 40mm stainless steel railing and a fresh hull decor featuring the polished chrome Nimbus logo give the whole range a sharper, more distinctive silhouette on the water.

Nimbus C12 Video Walkthrough
Nimbus redesigned the helm seating from scratch. Better lateral support and thought-out ergonomics mean the difference between arriving somewhere stiff and arriving relaxed, particularly on longer passages where fatigue usually creeps in around hour three. Ventilation, lighting, sound routing and serviceability have all been improved across the range. None of it photographs well. All of it matters once you own the boat.
Mercury Joystick Piloting is available across the range with Mercury outboards, pairing joystick control with an integrated bow thruster for genuinely intuitive close-quarters handling. Volvo Penta inboard power is available on both the Commuter 12 and Tender 12, with an optional assisted docking package. Either way, the tight marina berth stops being something you dread.

An optional hydraulic swim platform brings you closer to the water and doubles as a passerelle when moored. New aft deck seating with side cushions turns what used to be storage space into somewhere you’d actually choose to sit, and updated illumination and a new windscreen wiper system take care of visibility and ambience after dark.
Underneath it all sits the same air-lubricated twin-stepped hull that made the 11 Series’ reputation – a low planing threshold and the kind of seaworthy manners that let you hold 45+ knots while staying dry and settled, not just fast on a calm day.

FAQs
How much does a Nimbus C12 cost?
Pricing depends on engine choice and specification, since options range from twin Mercury Verado V8s up to Volvo Penta inboard power, and there’s a genuine amount of customisation available on top of that. Contact Morgan Marine directly for current pricing on new and used Nimbus C12s, including any boats we have in stock.
What’s the difference between the Nimbus C12 and the C11?
The C12 is a step up rather than a straightforward refresh. It’s larger, with an extended aft platform and redesigned aft deck, new helm seats built for longer stints underway, and a more premium feel throughout the deck saloon and cabin. Under the skin, both share the same air-lubricated twin-stepped hull that made the 11 Series’ reputation for stable, dry handling at speed, so the C12 keeps that seaworthiness while adding space and refinement.
How fast is the Nimbus C12?
The C12 is capable of 45+ knots, with cruising speed depending on the engine option chosen. The twin-stepped hull is designed to stay stable and dry at speed rather than simply fast in ideal conditions, which is where a lot of that top-end figure actually earns its keep.
How many people can the Nimbus C12 sleep and carry?
The C12 has four berths across two double cabins, and is rated to carry up to 12 people on board, making it as capable for a full day out with friends as it is for an overnight aboard.
Where can I view a Nimbus C12?

Buying through Morgan Marine also means the relationship doesn’t end at handover. Our boatyard and marina are on hand for storage, maintenance and any work the boat needs down the line, and our chandlery and clothing store is fully stocked for everything else.
