Sales DescriptionAlthough designed by Camper & Nicholson, the Halmatic 8.80 was always sold under the Halmatic name. Thanks to the full-width coachroof forward of the cockpit, she offers a remarkable amount of interior space for her length. The large cockpit is also well sheltered behind a fixed windscreen. The Halmatic 8.80 is also very much a motor-sailor, with a powerful Perkins diesel engine. They are a tough, solid and capable boat - great for crossing oceans or coastal cruising. Halmatics are much loved and have a small international community of like-minded sailors. The present owner of this particular boat has not sailed nor motored the boat for over a year and all prospective buyers must satisfy themselves regarding all aspects of the boats condition an operation.
